I am a recent Masters of Architecture graduate, currently working as an architectural designer and on the path to licensure.
I leverage my BFA in Interior Design alongside my architectural knowledge and experience to create designs that focus on elevating the user experience.
See my Full portfolioThe museum on Roosevelt Island in New York City highlights art from underrepresented groups. The program is split across four buildings with curved exterior walls that grow in height from west to east. The form of the building reflects the history of Roosevelt Island as a quarry and the Queensboro Bridge that is an iconic landmark of the island. The heights of the building reflects the context across the river with the towering buildings of Manhattan and the relatively lower context of Queens. A multi-colored frosted glass exterior serves dual purposes. It creates a unique facade element that illuminates at night to make the entire building softly glow. Additionally, the frosted glass allows a diffused natural light to enter the gallery spaces without damaging artwork or disrupting the visual comfort necessary for a pleasant viewing experience.
I was the 2023 graduate-level receipient for the School of Architecture Medal. The New Jersey School of Architecture Medals are awarded to the outstanding undergraduate and graduate Architecture students for academic achievement and design excellence. The Architecture Medal is the highest honor presented by the New Jersey School of Architecture.
